In addition to dental prosthetics, military personnel and veterans can receive free dental treatment under the pilot project “Dental prosthetics for certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”.
Dental treatment is currently available at 100 dental facilities in Ukraine that have a contract with the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU). Dental care can be received in almost all regions, except the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region and Crimea.
Most dental facilities with a contract are in:
- Dnipropetrovsk Region – 10,
- Poltava and Chernihiv regions – 9 each,
- Sumy and Kharkiv regions – 8 each.
The number of facilities grows every day as contracting continues.
Who can receive comprehensive dental care free of charge?
Dental treatment services are available to:
- war veterans and people with disabilities resulting from the war;
- combat veterans;
- military personnel who have not yet received combat veteran status but continue to perform combat missions.
The service is available both with a doctor’s referral and without one, if you come on your own.
What is the cost limit for dental care?
The maximum cost of dental treatment services provided (service No. 2) may not exceed UAH 24,952.
What is guaranteed free of charge to military personnel and veterans under the package for service group No. 2 “Dental treatment”?
Dental treatment services include the following scope of medical care:

How can a veteran find a dental clinic offering free treatment?
Military personnel and veterans can receive free dental treatment at facilities that have signed a contract with the NHSU.
There are several ways to find a healthcare facility with a contract:
- Call the NHSU contact center at 16-77. Tell the operator in which region you want to receive dental treatment. The operator will give you the phone numbers and addresses of dental facilities.
- Or find a healthcare facility yourself on the NHSU online map “Healthcare providers in the area ‘Dental prosthetics for certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine’”.
