Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine launches a portal with information about all public services

Illustration: Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine launches a portal with information about all public servicesThe Guide to Public Services is an online information portal about all services provided by executive authorities and local self-government bodies.

The service currently provides information on 1,170 services: where to apply, processing times, cost, the required documents and how to appeal the outcome. The information is constantly updated, and soon 100% of public services in Ukraine will be moved to the portal.

The services are grouped into 17 categories by area of activity and 36 life events. Buying property, changing your registered address or starting a business — all the information you need about official registration and obtaining the necessary services is easy to find in the Guide.

The Guide to Public Services is an official source of information. If an executive authority or local self-government body asks for a certificate that is not mentioned in the Guide when providing a service, citizens can refer to the Guide as grounds for not submitting that document.

The Guide to Public Services has a feedback feature. If users cannot find information about a service or spot an error in the existing information, they can send feedback, and the service will definitely be added. Feedback helps improve the service and identify problem areas and the most popular services.

What are the most popular public services in Ukraine?

  • Extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations;
  • State registration of changes to the information about a legal entity contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations;
  • State registration of an individual entrepreneur;
  • Registration of place of residence;
  • Registration of place of residence of a child under 14;
  • Birth registration.

The project was implemented with the support of the USAID/UK aid project “Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services/TAPAS” and with the assistance of the SURGe project funded by the Government of Canada.
