On 28–29 August, specialists of the Oncology Center carried out scheduled consultative examinations of residents of Lebedyn District at the Budylka and Vorozhba family medicine outpatient clinics. A surgical oncologist examined 54 people, found pathology in 9 of them and selected 8 people for planned hospitalization. A gynecologic oncologist examined 40 women, found pathology in 9 of them and selected 6 women for planned hospitalization. In addition, 46 ultrasound examinations were performed, and cancer was suspected in 12 cases.
On 7–8 September, the team traveled to Nedryhailiv District (the villages of Korovyntsi and Vilshany), where a surgical oncologist examined 55 people; pathology was found in 5 people, who were selected for planned hospitalization. A gynecologic oncologist examined 38 women; pathology was found in 2 women, who were selected for planned hospitalization. A total of 42 ultrasound examinations were performed, and cancer was suspected in 3 cases.
