As part of Melanoma Awareness Month, a prevention event for internally displaced persons was held together with the Sumy Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and with the support of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Lebedyn Hospital named after Doctor K. O. Zilbernyk” of Lebedyn City Council
👨⚕️ 20 people received a consultation with a surgical oncologist.
🔍 Cancer was suspected in 11 of them — these patients were referred for further examination.
Such outreach visits are a real opportunity to detect disease in time and a reminder of how important regular checkups are.
