On 24–25 April 2025, a team of doctors from the Sumy Regional Clinical Oncology Center attended a master class on surgery for malignant pancreatic tumors in Dnipro, hosted by the Dnipro Regional Oncology Dispensary
👨⚕️ Master class leaders:
- Dmytro Savenkov / Chief surgical oncologist / Doctor of the highest category / Dnipro, surgical oncologist, highest qualification category, Medical Director of the Dnipro Regional Oncology Dispensary;
- Vadym Malytskyi, surgical oncologist at the Dnipro Regional Oncology Dispensary.
📚 The master class program covered:
- vascular anatomy of the hepatoduodenal region;
- planning surgical interventions on the pancreas;
- analysis of risks and possible complications;
- live surgery: pancreaticoduodenectomy and biliary drainage for obstructive jaundice.
