Alla Fedorchenko, a cytomorphologist at the clinical diagnostic laboratory, took part in the 3rd Congress of the NGO “Ukrainian Association of Cytopathologists” — “Optimal morphological diagnosis of tumors using classical cytological, histological and modern research methods,” held on 17–18 May in Kyiv.
🔎 The focus was on modern approaches to diagnosing malignant neoplasms:
▪️ the potential of classical cytology
▪️ innovations in immunocytochemistry and molecular pathology
▪️ the role of pathological confirmation in diagnosing melanoma and tumors of the breast, thyroid, lungs and other organs.
An event like this is a space for sharing knowledge, discussing complex clinical cases and bringing the best international practices into the daily work of Ukrainian doctors.
