15 July — World Gynecologist Day 💙
This is the professional holiday of doctors who take care of women’s health every day, carry out preventive examinations, support patients at every stage of treatment and give women what matters most — confidence and peace of mind.
The Sumy Regional Clinical Oncology Center has a gynecologic oncology department where women from all over the region can receive highly specialized care for benign and malignant diseases of the female reproductive system.
In the department:
- Modern methods are used to diagnose and treat disorders of the cervix, endometrium, ovaries and vulva.
- Organ-preserving, laparoscopic, combined and extended radical surgeries are performed, including with elements of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
- Treatment follows Ukrainian and international clinical protocols.
A multidisciplinary team takes part in the treatment process — gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, anesthesiologists and psychologists. This approach makes it possible to choose the optimal treatment strategy for each patient, taking into account her condition, age, comorbidities and life circumstances.
Women’s health is the foundation of a happy life, family and future. And every day we work to make sure that every woman feels heard, protected and confident about tomorrow.
