Chemotherapy department

The chemotherapy department of the Oncology Center has 50 beds and a staff of 4 doctors, 10 nurses and 6 nursing assistants. We offer a wide range of chemotherapy services for the treatment of various types of tumors.

Types of treatment provided:

▫️Palliative chemotherapy

Tumor sites treated in the department:

▫️Head and neck tumors (oral cavity, oropharynx, hypopharynx, nasopharynx, larynx)

▫️Lung tumors

▫️Stomach tumors

▫️Colon and rectal tumors

▫️Pancreatic tumors

▫️Breast tumors

▫️Ovarian, uterine and cervical tumors

▫️Melanoma

▫️Sarcomas

▫️Hodgkin lymphoma

▫️Non-Hodgkin lymphomas

More than 2,500 patients are treated in the department every year, about 200 of them with hematologic malignancies.

Program of Medical Guarantees of the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU):

  1. Chemotherapy treatment and support for adults and children with cancer in outpatient and inpatient settings.

  2. Treatment and support for adults and children with hematologic diseases and hematologic malignancies in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Since 2002, our department has hosted international clinical trials, which makes it possible to use modern anticancer drugs and supportive care medicines.
