Oncology Center outpatient clinic

The outpatient follow-up department is located at 48 Troitska St and occupies two floors.

On the first floor of the department are the registration desk, two ultrasound rooms, the senior nurse’s office, the office of the head of department and the room of the multidisciplinary tumor board. On the second floor are the treatment room, the endoscopy rooms (namely the bronchoscopy, cystoscopy and fibrogastrocolonoscopy rooms), the laser surgery room, the follow-up care room, doctors’ consulting rooms (namely 2 surgical rooms, ENT, thoracic surgeon, urologist and 2 gynecological rooms), the rooms of the medical oncologist and the radiation oncologist, staff rooms and restrooms.

According to the approved staffing schedule of the Oncology Center, the outpatient follow-up department has 8 doctor positions, 14 positions for junior specialists with medical training and 8 positions for junior medical staff, as well as 2 cleaners, 4 medical registrars and 1 cloakroom attendant.

The department performs outpatient procedures: core needle biopsies, electrocoagulation, laser coagulation, paracentesis, and removal of skin and soft tissue lesions.

Modern endoscopic examinations are widely used: gastroscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy and bronchoscopy.

Colonoscopy and gastroscopy are performed under general anesthesia.

The department provides health education for the public. Junior specialists with medical training hold talks with patients and visitors on topical health issues.
