The ultrasound service of the Oncology Center has 3 examination rooms, where highly qualified doctors see patients both from the regional capital and from the districts.
Appointments are made in advance with an e-referral from the center’s surgical oncologists or from family doctors.
At our center, we work with expert-class equipment, which allows us to perform high-quality, complete examinations. We provide early diagnosis of cancer, but our services are not limited to cancer screening: we offer all types of ultrasound diagnostics.
These include examinations of the abdomen, kidneys and pelvic organs, as well as of superficial organs: the breasts, thyroid gland and lymph nodes.
Our ultrasound doctors work closely with surgical oncologists, which makes it possible to perform ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspirations and core needle biopsies of lesions in various organs to fully verify the diagnosis.
Since we often examine patients before surgery, ultrasound of the heart and blood vessels will soon be added to our services.
